"GREEN" Wrapping Ideas for ALL Those Gifts
Christmas wrapping paper is NOT recyclable. Consider using a more Eco-Friendly Alternative:
-
Make your own wrapping paper out of paper bags and stamped designs
-
Shred old wrapping paper or newspaper and use as stuffing for gift bags
-
Save the clear containers that baked goods & other food comes in, fill with your shredded paper, place your gift on top and finish with a ribbon.
-
Use reusable gift or store bags - I package adult gifts in reusable grocery bags & a bow
-
Make your own reusable cloth gift bags which can be returned to you to be used year after year
-
Make recycled paper gift tags |

Reason for Hope By Jane Goodall Ages: Mature Middle Schoolers & Up
In Reason for Hope, Jane Goodall candidly shares her life-talking of the love and support of her mother, her son, her late husband, of friends and strangers-as well as the Gombe chimpanzees she introduced to the world nearly forty years ago. She gives us convincing reasons why we can and must open ourselves to the saints within each of us. At one with nature and challenged by the man-made dangers of environmental destruction, inequality, materialism, and genocide, Dr. Goodall offers insight into her perceptions of these threats and celebrates the people who are working for earth's renewal. Here, indeed, is Reason for Hope.
