WHAT WILL WE TAKE?

WE NOW TAKE ANY & ALL BOOKS IN ANY CONDITION

We accept the following books: - PreK - 12th grade text
- PreK - 12th grade Library books
- Reference books (dictionaries, thesauruses, encyclopedias)
- Story books (any age up to high school)
- And more: If you have questions about what we accept just ask When packing your books, please box like books together and label the box. Call ahead for large loads. To find someone to pick up the books at your location, try the bookrescue newsgroup.

To recycle damaged or older hard back books with us, we ask for a $5 donation/box for hardcover b

Book Rescue Newsgroup

If you have books to donate, please consider sending us an email describing your books as follows:

To: bookrescue@yahoogroups.com
Subject: OFFER: then age group, subject, and city (e.g. HS Chemistry Books in Glen Ellyn)
Body of Message: Details about the books, including title, publisher, number of copies, and ideally ISBN number.

This email will cause your books to be listed on our bookrescue newsgroup. If someone needs your books, they will contact you directly. You can privately make arrangements for the book transfer, which means you won't have to load up your car and drive to Glen Ellyn.

We are recruiting members for our newsgroup. Go to the Book Rescue newsgroup. It is like a free classified ad section for books (and school supplies). The plan is that if you post your books, we can advertise them and match the people that need books with the people that want books before we shelve them all.
